A slickline unit typically consists of a truck-mounted winch system that houses the operating controls and a drum spooled with solid steel wireline. This wireline is used to convey mechanical tools and electronic memory gauges into the wellbore safely and efficiently.
Slickline operations enable accurate downhole data acquisition for lithology interpretation, reservoir evaluation, and well performance analysis.
